The Construction Waste Awareness Certificate (CWAC) provides a perfect foundation course for waste management in the construction industry. Accredited by the CIWM, this course is designed for all employees (at office and site-level) who are involved in waste management, handling, disposal or training as part of their work practices. The course enables delegates to understand the key factors relating to waste legislation, waste minimisation and disposal techniques and waste auditing. The course concentrates on waste issues relating to the construction industry, such as skip management, Duty of Care and an introduction to Site Waste Management Plans. Course information: The courses are delivered at ECUS' offices, but can also be presented in-house at a time and location to suit your organisation.
