Sustainability is now firmly established as a key concept in all areas business and development, and construction is no exception. The Code for Sustainable Homes, became mandatory for all new homes constructed from May 2008. The aim of the Code is to provide a high level of environmental protection by constructing homes which have been built with sustainability in mind for all areas. As we are a multidisciplinary consultancy, our Code services range from carrying out full Code assessments, to providing support and consultancy on individual elements to gain credits (in particular categories 4 in relation to surface water and 9 in relation to ecology).
