PRELIMINARY RISK ASSESSMENT

Phase 1 Site Investigation
ECUS Phase 1 Site Investigations are provided to a wide range of clients needing to understand liabilities, achieve regulatory approval, secure funding or quantify risks. They generally comprise:

• A detailed site walkover and discussions with relevant personnel to identify all current and recent contamination sources;
• A detailed review of any historical use of the site to identify potential contaminative uses and their locations and any health and safety considerations that may be relevant to subsequent works;
• A review of the wider setting of the site to include geology, hydrogeology, surrounding industry and all other areas of potential concern; and,
• A report drawing together conclusions about potential contamination at the site and making recommendations to determine and the scope of any Phase 2 Site Investigation required.

Phase 1 Site Investigations are normally completed within two weeks of receiving a commission and depending on the site size and location cost between £900.00 and £1,350.00 excluding VAT.
