Geotechnical Site Investigation
Ecus provide cost-effective combined site investigations that assess both the geotechnical and the environmental status of sites.
Geotechnical investigations help to obtain information on the properties of soil and rock around a site to design earthworks and foundations for proposed structures and to repair distress to earthworks and structures caused by subsurface conditions.
We have recent demonstrable experience on a variety of different projects including: proof drilling for mine workings, concrete coring and foundation inspections, CBR testing (for road subgrades) and soakaway testing. We specify, supervise and interpret results both on-site and through laboratory testing.
Through combining our geotechnical engineering expertise with our EIA, ecology and landscape departments we also deliver advice on SUDS design.
If we can help you with any of your projects please call us or make an enquiry.
