Tree Surveys are often requested for development schemes as part of the planning process by the local planning authority and our approach fulfils their requirements. Tree surveys can be carried out at any time of the year and are usually completed within two weeks of receiving a commission. Our tree survey reports include:

  • Details of the species, stem diameter, height, condition, life expectancy and condition category of each tree
  • Digital plan showing tree locations
  • Trees protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) or Conservation Area status
  • Recommendations for tree management works
  • Recommendations for investigation by our associate arboriculturalist if potentially hazardous trees are identified

We can also provide additional services to assess and help to mitigate the impact of the proposed development on the existing trees. These may include:

  • Tree Constraints Plan showing Root Protection Areas
  • Effect of the proposed development on trees
  • Tree Protection Plan showing trees for retention and removal
  • Recommendations for protection of retained trees during construction works
  • Arboricultural Implications Assessment
  • Arboricultural Method Statement

Our services are available individually or as part of an integrated package. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and the different service options we can provide.
