Andy leads our Green Infrastructure and Planning team and has more than more than 25 years of experience of working directly with organisations across a range of sectors to improve their environmental and sustainability performance. Through his experience in multi-disciplinary consulting, he has led projects for clients including Network Rail, Defra, Highways Agency, Transport Scotland, Thames Water and Welsh Government. He has also managed and delivered large-scale programmes to provide direct assistance to companies to improve their performance.
Within the Green Infrastructure team, he works with our discipline leads to grow and build the teams, win new work and ensure that our clients receive the best service we can offer, so they can deliver their projects effectively. He is also responsible for our bid management process and working with our key client managers to give our clients confidence in the services that we provide at Cura Terrae.
As a multi-disciplinary consultancy, Cura Terrae Sustainable Environment can leverage the wider benefits of collaborative working to deliver measurable environmental improvements. A project he is particularly proud of is the work Ecus have done on the Hope Valley Line improvement scheme with Volker Rail and Network Rail. Every team within Cura Terrae Sustainable Environment has been involved in this project. We have ensured that the project will leave a tangible legacy, having planted more than 20,000 trees and achieved more than 50% biodiversity net gain in the Hope Valley.
As for why Andy chose Cura Terrae, he explains: “This is at the heart of why I chose Cura Terrae: the unique service offering across the group combined with the fundamental ethos of enhancing the environment for future generations.”
