As Business Development Director, Eleanor drives revenue growth and strategic partnerships across Cura Terrae Land and Nature. With over 15 years of experience in the environmental sector, she bridges the gap between high-level strategy and technical excellence, overseeing complex tenders and nurturing long-term relationships with our clients.
Her leadership is defined by a proactive, inclusive approach that maximizes efficiency across all teams and locations. Before her appointment to this broader divisional role in 2026, Eleanor served as Business Director for Ecology, following a distinguished career as an Associate Ecologist and Project Manager. She has a proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, most notably leading multi-year ecological survey programs for East West Rail (EWR) Renewals. Eleanor was also a Project Manager on the initial BNG Pilot Scheme, working in collaboration with Natural England. Her team played a key role in providing feedback and supporting the development of the initial BNG metric.
Eleanor is a first-class BSc Zoology graduate, holds a Distinction in MSc Conservation and Resource Management, and is a proud full member of CIEEM.
