Gemma is Head of Ecology at Cura Terrae, where she leads the Ecology team in delivering pragmatic, solutions-focused services that support clients across a wide range of projects.
Gemma has worked in environmental conservation roles since 2004 and as an ecological consultant since 2013. She has extensive experience across a broad range of projects throughout Scotland, the wider UK, and the Republic of Ireland.
As Head of Ecology, Gemma leads the team in providing practical, high-quality ecological advice and solutions tailored to clients’ needs. Her specialist expertise includes protected species mitigation and licensing, alongside strong technical knowledge in the delivery of Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), Habitats Regulations Assessments (HRA), and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG).
