Oliver leads Cura Terrae’s Historic Environment team, overseeing our Archaeology, Heritage, and Geophysics specialisms.
Oliver has 19 years of experience in the sector. He started out as a graduate archaeologist at Wessex Archaeology and spent over a decade gaining hands-on experience in the field, including in Rome and at Stonehenge. He then moved into project management, turning challenging projects into resounding successes. He joined Cura Terrae in 2022 as an Associate and then Technical Director. Olly expanded the business’s archaeological operations, growing the team, client base, and our capacity to deliver large-scale projects simultaneously.
Oliver brings extensive technical, leadership, commercial, and client liaison skills to his current role. He oversees Cura Terrae’s holistic Historic Environment offering and supports the talented Archaeology, Heritage, and Geophysics teams. He is also responsible for shaping and delivering the department’s strategy, for grasping opportunities, and fostering innovation.
Olly is passionate about delivering excellence and ensuring the professional growth and safety of his teams. He enjoys working in a company with different disciplines and voices, saying that it “makes Cura Terrae a fun place to work”.
