Following the award of future projects there may be opportunities for contract extensions. About the opportunity…
You’ll be expected to support in archaeological projects to professional standards and in accordance with Company Health & Safety requirements. You’ll work on allocated project tasks such as hand excavation and recording archaeological features, site survey, site photography within agreed scopes and timescales.
You’ll be competent in basic excavation, field surveying and post-excavation tasks.
Driven by improving and developing your skillsets and expertise you’ll have the opportunity to engage with guidance and training on offer.
Ideally, you’ll have a full UK driving licence to work on site and willing to stay away from home when required and in line with the responsibility of the role.
You’ll maintain accreditation at Practitioner level or above in the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (PCIfA) (preferred but not essential).
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is keen t progress within the archaeology profession at an entry level.
