Ecus is now rebranded as Cura Terrae.

Project Quality & Systems Coordinator

Locations: Cura Terrae Land & Nature office, or remote with frequent office visits (hybrid)

Are you a natural organiser with a knack for structure, systems, consistency, and supporting success? We’re looking for a Project Quality & Systems Coordinator to support, enable, and monitor effective project delivery by championing our processes, platforms, and quality standards.

At Cura Terrae, we believe in doing work that makes a genuine difference—for our clients, our environment, and our people. With over 30 years of experience and a strong legacy under our former name, Ecus, our Land and Nature division continues to lead the way in ecological consultancy across the UK.

With offices nationwide and our roots in the ‘Outdoor City’ of Sheffield, we combine national reach with local insight to deliver sustainable, high-quality solutions. As we grow, we’re looking for a Project Quality & Systems Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

Why join us?

Whether you’re an experienced Project Quality & Systems Coordinator, or in a similar role, seeking a new environment to grow in or stepping up from a support role and ready to take on more responsibility, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a forward-thinking environmental solutions company.

We believe in empowering our people. We invest in the tools, training, and flexibility that allow our team to thrive. From professional development and mentoring to hybrid working and wellbeing support — we create a space where great work can happen.

You’ll support the delivery of a wide variety of complex, multidisciplinary environmental projects — helping ensure they run smoothly, meet quality standards, and achieve real impact. You’ll work alongside a highly experienced team, contributing to our shared goal of creating practical, sustainable solutions for clients across the UK.

We’re proud of our collaborative, values-driven culture and our reputation for excellence — and as a Project Quality & Systems Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining that standard every day.

What you’ll do:

As a key member of our team, you’ll provide critical support to our Quality Manager and Operations Director, helping ensure our Integrated Management System (IMS) runs like clockwork. You’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining high standards across documentation, audits, compliance, and project support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and improving our document control procedures to keep everything organised and compliant.
  • Assisting in internal and external audits – keeping audit schedules, logs, and actions up to date.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to ensure project data and documentation is accurate and complete – targeting 100% compliance.
  • Managing the controlled documents library, IMS logs, and our dedicated management systems inbox.
  • Helping to maintain our Project Management toolkit and software systems – mentoring and supporting teams as needed.
  • Providing data quality oversight and helping analyse project performance metrics.
  • Supporting positive change by identifying and following up on non-conformances and driving remedial actions.

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for someone who thrives on structure, precision, and progress. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in supporting Project Managers and project lifecycles.
  • Organised, reliable, and laser-focused on detail.
  • Confident with digital tools and able to quickly pick up new systems.
  • A proactive communicator with a collaborative spirit.
  • Motivated by continuous improvement and consistently demonstrate initiative and independence.

What you’ll get in return

We’re committed to helping our people thrive, and that means more than just a job title.

At Cura Terrae Land and Nature, we’re more than just a workplace—we’re a team. You’ll join a collaborative, inclusive culture where your voice matters and your development is supported.

  • Clear values: Team-focused, honest, and inclusive.
  • Opportunities to grow: Training, mentorship, and professional development.
  • A positive environment: We care about safety, quality, and each other.
  •  Make a difference: Your work will directly impact project delivery and success.
  • A comprehensive benefits package
