Whiteley is halfway between Southampton and Portsmouth within walking distance of Swanwick railway station (which connects to London commuter lines), and with easy access to junction 9 of the M27. It’s also very close to the South Downs and New Forest National Parks, the south coast, and the Isle of Wight.

The office will initially house our southern-based Ecology team and will include ecologists who hold several protected species licences: bat level 2, GCN, dormouse and barn owl. Also moving in are our tree climbing team, who can assess for both bats and barn owls.

"We're really pleased that Ecus's 11th office to be established is on the South Coast. This means it’s even easier for our clients in the area to access the range of environmental services we offer across the UK. We're very close to Southampton and Portsmouth, and we can easily access the nearby national parks and coastline. We're looking forward to working with our existing clients and growing new customer relationships in the area."
