Specialist arboricultural input supporting the full planning application
A large former paper mill site in East Sheffield. A complex site containing ancient woodland and a number of TPOs, Ecus was brought in to take over the arboricultural input.
We successfully supported the full planning application for the remediation of the site on behalf of CEG.
Our team was then retained as the project arboriculturalist by Barratts Homes and successfully supported their full application for the new housing development.
Outcomes
Working closely with the client and the LPA landscape officer we successfully negotiated a proportional and achievable standard of tree protection across what was a very large site.
Ecus provided weekly ACoW during the remediation of the site and worked alongside the client and LPA to resolve any issues which arose.
