Before being appointed to the board and becoming Ecus’s Managing Director in 2022, Kit was Regional Director for the South West and South Wales teams, growing the them from two to over 25 in four years.

Kit’s career includes being Development Manager for a number of UK offshore wind projects (over 2GW), delivering consent and successful construction across both offshore and onshore aspects.   He has considerable experience of working with UK regulatory bodies at regional and national levels, and governmental lobbying.  He also previously sat on the board of a leading survey and consultancy provider to the offshore renewables and conservation sectors. 

Kit is an active member of national and international industry steering and working groups, and presently sits on the University of the West of England’s MSc Environmental Consultancy steering group, as well as being a Gold Scholar Mentor at the University of Bath. 

Kit is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB) and a Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD), as well as a Chartered Biologist (CBiol) and Chartered Scientist (CSci).  He is also an Executive MBA candidate at the University of Bath’s School of Management. 

Kit has a passion for ensuring that Ecus is future-facing, being a strong advocate for sustainable development in the National Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) sector.  He has a key focus on delivering people-centred workforce management to drive the societal changes needed in the fourth industrial revolution.
