Having started his career with charitable and Local Authority countryside management roles, Stuart transitioned to ecological consultancy in 2000.

Since then, Stuart has worked for large and small consultancies, running projects from small developments to major national infrastructure schemes, and helping clients find effective and innovative solutions to their ecological footprint.

For the past 15 years, Stuart has specialised in major infrastructure projects and Habitats Regulations Assessment, including Roscommon Way, Canvey Island, Yorkshire Energy Park in Hedon, Hull and the A5 Western Transport Corridor, Northern Ireland.

He is a recognised expert in Habitats Regulations Assessment and provides training across the ecology discipline, to other disciplines and external organisations, including local authority planners and the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
